Tierney Building accommodates an established software research centre, comprising PHD laboratories, offices, visiting research space, boardroom and meeting rooms, and two lecture / seminar rooms.
It features a shared reception space and cafe with the Industrial Enterprise Centre Building (IEC). The IEC is comprised of a Technology Transfer Unit and a Industrial Interaction Unit.
The aim of the design approach is to create a space that delivers a combined focus on innovation and knowledge transfer. The building accommodates incubator units, seminar rooms, cellular offices and open plan office space.
